Catholic Childrens Society Making tomorrow a brighter day

St Anne's Needs You!

Background
St Anne's Community Centre was originally set up by the society in 1986 to offer nursery care. It soon became apparent that, in addition, there was an urgent need for affordable before and after school care for working families in the Vauxhall area. The service was therefore extended to offer a Breakfast Club and After School Club to families from the local community ensuring that whilst away from their parents, the children are happy, safe, and in a caring and stimulating environment. The service is offered to children from 3-11 years old, from all faiths, cultures and abilities; it is part-funded by the Catholic Children's Society and recently achieved a "very positive" Ofsted report.

Today
At the request of the landlords, St Anne's is required to relocate from a number of areas within the building and create, from scratch, new facilities. Undertaking such a project will clearly require significant funding by the Society. This also comes at a time when the government has set up a number of projects close by which are equipped with the latest technology and activities with which it is difficult to compete.

We need YOUR help!
This project has delivered a much needed service to the community for over 22 years - we want to be around for the next 22! We are known and respected locally by a diverse range of families who we support far and beyond child care. Please help us to give this project a much needed boost and enable us to retain our position as trusted carers and supporters of these local families.

Thank You
